چکیده

In this paper we investigate predictive models of form filling. A predictive model of form filling aims to reduce the amount of time a user spends filling out a form by predicting the values of fields on the form and using these predictions to make suggestions to the form filler. Existing predictive models ignore both the values of other fields on the form and the values previously entered by users other than the current form filler when predicting the value of a target field. We introduce a novel model of predictive form filling named the Collaborative and Contextually Frequently Used model that utilizes these sources of information. We demonstrate that our model outperforms the existing, standard models of predictive form filling using a real-world collection of forms. We also demonstrate that using the values used by other form fillers can significantly improve the performance of the existing models. Author

Volume-Filling Effects on Sloshing Frequency in Simplified and Explicit Dynamic Finite Element Models of Tank Wagons During Braking and Turning

Numerical analysis of fluid sloshing in tank wagons is amongst essential research ideas that are focused by railway engineers. The free surface of fluid becomes unstable and turns into a dynamic complex non-linear problem for fluid-structure interaction (FSI). In this paper, initially, the dynamic response of the tank, including lateral force analysis and pressure distribution during braking, i...

Performance Evaluation of Dynamic Modulus Predictive Models for Asphalt Mixtures

Dynamic modulus characterizes the viscoelastic behavior of asphalt materials and is the most important input parameter for design and rehabilitation of flexible pavements using Mechanistic–Empirical Pavement Design Guide (MEPDG). Laboratory determination of dynamic modulus is very expensive and time consuming. To overcome this challenge, several predictive models were developed to determine dyn...

Utility Estimation of Health Status of Cancer Patients by Mapping for Cost-Utility Analysis

Background: It is important to obtain accurate information about the preferences of people for measuring quality-adjusted life years (QALYs), because it is necessary for cost-utility analysis. In this regard, mapping is a method to access this information. Therefore, the purpose of this study was to map Functional Assessment of Cancer Therapy – General (FACT-G) onto Short Form Six Dimension (SF...

A Generalized Process Model of Human Action Selection and Error and its Application to Error Prediction

Our model of action selection and postcompletion error in two form filling tasks extends to skip errors in a story telling task. We also discuss how it explains perseverations in one of the aforementioned form filling tasks. Finally we discuss a predictive classifier application we built from the model’s data. The classifier could allow an autonomous agent to know when it is a bad time to inter...

Bayesian Two-Sample Prediction with Progressively Type-II Censored Data for Some Lifetime Models

Prediction on the basis of censored data is very important topic in many fields including medical and engineering sciences. In this paper, based on progressive Type-II right censoring scheme, we will discuss Bayesian two-sample prediction. A general form for lifetime model including some well known and useful models such asWeibull and Pareto is considered for obtaining prediction bounds ...
